Mavenclad is taken for only 4-5 days four times over 4 years which results in resetting of the immune system.

Fumarates (Tecfidera, Vumerity) are taken twice a day to prevent relapses, worsening disability and new MRI activity.

S1P medications (Gilenya, Mayzent, Zeposia) are taken once a day to prevent relapses and worsening disability.  Mayzent was shown to be effective in secondary-progressive disease.
